A wooded reserve, small organic farm and playing grounds is just a 5 minute walk away, safe and popular with runners and dog walkers alike.

A regular bus service and walks

A regular bus service to the city runs every 20 minutes to the central business district. On a fine day a 45 minute walk along the Herne Bay and Ponsonby streets to the CBD is very pleasurable, ending up at the viaduct basin renowned for luxury yachts and cafe culture.
