Guest library & sitting room
The library and its adjacent veranda are for your relaxation. Enjoy a wide range of reading material in front of the fire in winter or on the veranda in summer with a complimentary port or sherry from the decanters.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served in the farmhouse kitchen around the large country table. Guests can also breakfast privately in the sun porch if preferred. In summer breakfast is served on the back veranda under a covered pergola that drips with scarlet bougainvillea and is surrounded by a sub-tropical garden.
Breakfast includes fresh orange juice, a fresh fruit platter, yoghurt, homemade muesli, freshly baked muffins, croissants, whole grain toast, preserves, espresso coffees, herbal and English breakfast tea.
Special dietary needs catered for – please let us know if you are vegetarian, vegan, gluten free or have any other special dietary needs.
Complimentary tea/coffee and home baking
We love baking and so you will always have a selection of our complimentary home baking in the guest kitchenette whenever you make yourself a cup of tea or coffee. Regularly featured are ginger crunch, peanut brownies, and chocolate or banana cake.
The Garden
The garden is a private subtropical delight as well as featuring home grown herbs and vegetables. It includes two hammocks, one being a Pawley Island hammock big enough for two. Guests can relax in either of the hammocks with a magazine, good book, pillow and a rug and sleep the afternoon away.
Free wireless internet
WI-FI internet access is free and available with your computer or i-phone in your room and throughout the house.
Laundry
There is a laundry in the basement that guests can use if needed. There is also a hanging rack in the basement and a clothes-line in the garden to freshen your clothes in the sun.
