Guest library & sitting room
The library and its adjacent veranda are for your relaxation. Enjoy a wide range of reading material in front of the fire in winter or on the veranda in summer with a complimentary port or sherry from the decanters.
In summer breakfast is served on the back veranda under a covered pergola that drips with scarlet bougainvillea and is surrounded by a sub-tropical garden. During the cooler months served at the library table with the ambience of the fire.
Breakfast includes fresh orange juice, a fresh fruit platter, yoghurt, homemade muesli, freshly baked muffins, home made whole grain toast, preserves, espresso coffees, herbal and English breakfast tea.
Special dietary needs catered for – please let us know if you are vegetarian, vegan, gluten free or have any other special dietary needs.
Complimentary tea/coffee and home baking
We love baking and so you will always have a selection of our complimentary home baking in the guest kitchenette whenever you make yourself a cup of tea or coffee. Regularly featured are ginger crunch, peanut brownies, and chocolate or banana cake.
The garden is a private subtropical delight as well as featuring home grown herbs and vegetables. It includes two hammocks, one being a Pawley Island hammock big enough for two. Guests can relax in either of the hammocks with a magazine, good book, pillow and a rug and sleep the afternoon away.
Free wireless internet
WI-FI internet access is free and available with your computer or i-phone in your room and throughout the house.
There is a laundry in the basement that guests can use if needed. There is also a hanging rack in the basement and a clothes-line in the garden to freshen your clothes in the sun.
